Starting point are two photographs from my childhood, which I compare with a recent video representation. Childhood and adult age collapse in a simultaneous production.

Posture and facial expression of the photo have been taken over and tried to maintain over extended periods of time. The expression changes itself along increasing duration. The corners of my mouth begin to twitch and tears well up in my eyes. The concept "of the stopping" and "remaining" was further pursued also in the body representation. I squeezed myself into my first communion dress from my childhood and try to keep the same position as in the picture until I am completely exhausted. The unnatural posture, like a marionette, is forced upon the body by the tightness of the dress. Restriction is not only referring to religious aspects, but also to social structures and its forces.

The videos apply on the social structures and its forces and encourage the recipients to reflect upon our youth cult.
