We look at cities through the veil of our own perceptual habits. The work refers to the created picture of a city by urbanized institutions, the ideal which will be dissolved through the literarily repeated description of what can be seen. The picture, as well as the scripture lose their readability and therefore through its concentration, result is a pen structure affected by my own personal handwriting.
The titel Beschreibungen (descriptions) plays with the dopple meaning of the germain word Beschreibungen. It means on the one hand - to give a mental image of something and on the other hand – writing on something.
